The place was packed when we got there, had to wait 20 min for a table, not bad. Comfortable booths in the dining space. Plentiful variation of dishes, including chutneys and other sauces. The buffet also includes mango lassi. The food was authentic, good quality, probably one of the best Indian buffets I've been to. They were also good about getting your finished plate off your table. Would definitely go again.

4 for the food 3 for service Goat curry was tender and delish Butter chicken was more on the sweet side but still good Chai tea offered at a self serve station, pretty sweet. Server never checked on us and actually forgot put an order in, so we had to flag down when needed. Most of the time the staff were hanging in the back. All in all not a bad experience

We went to Amogham on Saturday for lunch buffet and it was packed! We gave our name to the lady at the front (which is also where you pay after your meal-- remember your table number!) and waited 20 mins or so. The buffet offerings included various types of biryani (goat, chicken, jackfruit), chicken pakora (so good!), and other dishes, most of which I'm not used to seeing at other Indian buffets. This means no butter chicken or tikka masala! Again, NO BUTTER CHICKEN OR TIKKA MASALA. We enjoyed all the food but just be warned if those are staples for you. The dessert options were plentiful: curd rice, halwa, fresh fruit, mango lassi (delicious) to name a few. There was even a guy serving up a popular street food item at another table. We found the spice level overall to be more than not spicy. It wasn't mouth-on-fire, but some dishes definitely had some kick. Parking is kind of a mess in this plaza, so just be careful-- watch for pedestrians and shopping carts and cars backing up, and cars zipping around like they're the only ones around.

We had lunch here today after a quick stop in the area and it was a great experience. The food was good--flavorful and served in good portions. What truly stood out was their staff. From the moment we sat down, the guy who took our order was attentive and very respectful. The server who brought the food was equally friendly and courteous. Noticing our 4-year-old at the table, he made sure to mention that the tandoori plate was hot and advised us to be careful, considering we had a child with us. I know these are small details, but they make a big difference, especially since many other restaurants overlook such thoughtful gestures. I'll definitely return!

Checked out this place with my boyfriend for their weekend lunch buffet $20/person. You get seated at a table by one of the servers, then can get whatever food and drink you desire. I have little experience with Indian food so I wasn't sure what to expect but I was excited when I saw they had biryani in their buffet advertisement and always wanted to try it. We tried the paneer butter masala, tandoori chicken, goat biryani, butter naan, gulab jamun, mango lassi, and fried chicken/fish. Everything was super flavorful, but also equally spicy for me so it was hard to eat a lot not being used to such heat. Not sure if there is a time limit to eating there, but the atmosphere is super laidback and all the workers are accommodating. I am only subtracting a star because my first bite of biryani, I got a small goat bone wedged between my teeth even after trying to separate the bones from the rice. My boyfriend loved it so much that he plans on coming back.

Amogham is a new -ish restaurant, and a work in progress. It shows a lot of promise. I would probably go for 3.5 stars, but I'll round up to be nice. We arrived on a weeknight just as they opened, and the place was silent. The seating area was very clean, and we found interesting items on the menu. The waiter, a tall chap who also sat us, took our order without writing it down, which was a mistake. It took a while to get food, but if everything is made fresh, that's fine. The veggie pakora was fabulous, probably the best we've ever had. Very light, with very tasty chutneys. We also ordered a banana appetizer , only to learn from a different staff member that they were out of it. The Wife ordered an aloo gobhi curry, while I had paneer Tikka masala. They didn't ask for spice levels, so we specified mild. We also ordered garlic naan and rice. They forgot the rice, so I asked for it again after the entrees arrived. It took a long while to get the rice, while our food cooled. I would have assumed they had rice already made? Anyway, the Wife's dish was actually fairly hot for her, so we switched entrees. She liked my paneer very much, as did I. For dessert, I ordered gulab jamun, and we both had masala tea. These were both excellent, but oddly, the mug was far better than the tea itself, hard to hold even. Are mugs sometimes pre-heated? The prices can't be beat. They took my card table-side, then handed it back with the transaction finished. I mentioned that there was no option to leave a tip, and he shrugged it off - "don't worry about it." That was odd, so we left what little cash we had instead. They definitely need help on the service side, and careful with the heat, but we really want to go back for that pakora, and try some different dishes.
